The Banana is also the only I can remember because it is the one where I always make party when I have to be ( because of transfers to the islands or becausse of work as travel agent - the most hotels are in this region ) there. ;-) Normaly patong is not the way i like to travel. I just wanted to recomend one place for travelers who want to make party in Patong: try the "Banana" Club! The sound is a good mixture with various styles between House / Techno and Hip Hop / RnB and Black out of the international charts.
