This past weekend has been chockfull of news, both personal and public. There was the horrible earthquake in Italy. There was the aircraft accident in Bandung, taking the lives of 24 young army officers. There was also a slew of passing away in my personal circle, both sudden and expected. I’ve had to attend a lot of wakes recently. And then, a good friend posted a link to this quote, which brings all this together and certainly gave me a different perspective of looking at life.

“There comes a time in life, when you have to let go, of all the pointless drama, and the people who create it, and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard, that you forget the bad, and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy”

Words to live by isn’t it? My deepest condolences to everybody affected in the various events of last week. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. And to those celebrating, Happy Easter. I’ll be spending well-deserved time with my loved ones, what about you?
