Running Away from all that Swine Flu

Few of us like Sunday afternoon, for the weekend is over and the workweek looming. But here at Unearthing Asia, we do, as it brings with it a chance for us to look back and recap the week.

The swine flu alert is all the travel talk you hear these days, with Singapore raising their alert level to orange up from yellow. Orange! That’s just one level below red, and we all know what that means. It’s probably a good time to lay-low and disappear. Go somewhere near, but far from the hustle and bustle and just enjoy a leisurely time away from all that depressing news. I’ll be first to take my own advice, and by the time you read this, I’ll be lazing away at Pulau Seribu (Thousand Islands). Be sure to catch my update on that next week!
