Dreaming of New Zealand

As I’ve often mentioned before, New Zealand is hands down my favorite travel destination so far. It’s got great scenery, a laid-back atmosphere and a superb infrastructure that makes it a breeze to just explore and get lost in the country’s many beautiful landscapes. For Delicious Baby’s Photo Friday, here’s a photo recap (Part 1) of my New Zealand travels!

Highlights from Port Hills Drive

After showcasing one of the highlight of our day-cruise around the Port Hills in Christchurch, we have some other photos to share, from the various part of that drive. After passing by Castle Rock, we went on down (missed the Gondola) towards Sumner and passed through the Avon River before heading back into town. Had a small hiccup at the Sign of the Kiwi, we went the wrong direction, but that misadventure led us to this beautiful view of the Governor’s Bay, well worth it. All in all a very refreshing and relaxing drive through some of the most amazing scenic landscape around!

Beautiful views abound! This one from the Sign of the Kiwi.

Didn't go Punting by the Avon, but had fun with the ducks there.
