Hiya Lynn,

Unfortunately, I can't help you out much with that, since none of us here live in HK. Perhaps a local HK can help out?

My advise however, would be to simply try out your local grocery store and ask for it. Or if not, you can even try asking a local Korean restaurants as to where they get their utensils!

Good luck, and enjoy your Bi Bim Bap! Yumm! =)

I'm living in HK. I'm desperately looking for Korean hot stone bowls. My brother in Sydney loves cooking and he wants to try Bi Bim Bap at home.I wish I could get him those stone bowls for his birthday. Any idea where I could buy them?

Now you've made me hungry, and I just finished lunch :) Very nice food shots. The color and textural look just screams "Feed Me"

The last images are silkworm lavae known as bundaegi. Smells horrible, like old wet socks but it's a treat with the children.
Good pics, I love bibimbap--miss it as well.

OH.. Everything looks so yummy!! I'm so fortunate to live near Atlanta as we have the large Korean population so I have my fix of my Bi Bim Bap and Bulgogi quite often. I have to say Korean food tends to be on the spicier side than Japanese food. It's easy to see why I can't resist Korean food.

Hi Nikolas, those last things are beondegi (silk worm larvae) on the left and boiled snails on the right. Traditionally kids liked to have them for snacks but these days not so much. The beondegi smells nasty and I don't particularly like their texture. I haven't seen the snails around for a while...
